Today felt like a small victory—finally, a warm day after what seemed like an endless stretch of cold. Fifteen degrees might not sound like much, but after months of layering up, it was enough to make us drop everything and head outside.
Ludovico and I didn’t waste a second. Shoes on (or off, in his case), and we were out the door. The air was fresh, the ground still showing signs of melting snow, but everything just felt lighter. No big plans, no structure—just walking (or cycling for Ludo), laughing, and making the most of the sunshine.
There’s something about the first warm day that just makes everything better. Ludo made new friends and made up silly games, and probably ran in circles way more than necessary. Ludovico was all energy, and had fun! Every now and then, we’d stop, catch our breath, and then start all over again.
Taste of spring, can’t wait for more...next up Pizza days!!!
